In some international severe weather markets (Russia) Toyota offered an in cabin hand throttle option for the 105 series Land Cruiser. This option is very useful for managing engine speed during a warm up but has additional useful functions such as managing RPM for extended winching operations or the use of high output\u00a0accessories\u00a0such an on-board welder or compressor system.<\/p>\n

The 105 Series has a different drivers lower instrument panel with a cutout and recess for the hand throttle. You could install the hand throttle without using the factory panel by simply mounting the knob in a convenient position such as\u00a0below\u00a0the ignition switch but if you want the full look you can add the knee panel. Note that the 105 series\u00a0doesn’t\u00a0have the four “slits” below the ignition switch. These “slits” are for the mounting (behind) of the AC interior temperture sensor.<\/p>\n

Don’t expect to run into your USA Toyota dealer and find these on the shelf, these are “Cold Area” or “Russian Spec”. The part numbers (p\/n) are scraped from Russian spare parts sites and are\u00a0believed\u00a0to accurate however when hunting these down you should verify correctness.<\/p>\n
